hello hello hello šš¼ thereās been an influx of new subscribers over the last few days, so welcome to the everyday adventure club! Every week I share a little review of whatās been going on, along with recommendations, postcards from microadventures and more āŗļø
The sun has been shining here in the north of England, and it just brings so much joy when itās like this. It really feels like spring has sprung, and after spending last weekend in the garden, it turns out the tree in our garden is actually a cherry blossom tree, and itās just starting to bloom! I canāt wait to watch this bloom fully over the next few weeks.
Finnās Pupdate : Finn is finally allowed out, and itās safe to say heās got stuck into microadventuring very well. Weāre actually about to leave for his first little weekend away so Iāll report back next week with how that goes! He seems so tiny when heās out and about, and itās safe to say getting everywhere takes just a little bit longer now a) because heās sniffing everything like mad and b) everyone wants to come up and say hello to him - and itās so lovely!
R - Iāve seen so many people talking about The Life List on Netflix, and reading so many different articles about it. I particualrly enjoyed reading this one my
- I just love her writing style! And itās making me want to sit down and watch the film, and write my own life list!E - Itās been another 10/10 eating week this week. I made an incredible leek and roasted tomato mac and cheese - Iāll put the recipe together and share it next week because itās incredible.
I also made some really good burgers and burger sauce, using The Batch Lady cookbook and omg these tasted soooo good and I could eat them all day every day!
P - Every so often, an album comes along and I just fall in love with it, every single song is a bop and I will make it my whole personality for a while. Itās happened again this week with DJOās latest album, The Crux, and Iām expecting this to feature high in my Spotify Wrapped already!
O - hot chocolates are my kryptonite and a recent obsession has been Knoops hot chocolates. Well, this has been upgraded to an Iced 70% dark chocolate with oat milk and grated orange zest. Oh my goodness, this is NEXT LEVEL and is like drinking a Terryās Chocolate Orange. Whatās not to love!
R - After my flare up the other month, Iāve lost basically all of my fitness levels, and itās no fun. So, Iām working with Harriet from HACIA coaching, and Iām on week one of twelve of my training! Itās been hard but Iām also really excited to be bulding my fitness up slowly and sustainably - I just love Harriets approach, especially to food, and Iām excited to see where we end up in 12 weeks!
T - The biggest treat this week has been able to take Finn out on walks and on adventures. I mean, theyāre still short walks at this point, but I love seeing him experience things for the first time - especially as heās starting to make friends with other dogs!
